Technology top 100 award

The Technology Top 100 (TT100) programme is focused on identifying the true South African role models who through innovation, tenacity and a passionate belief in people, have been able to take their organisations to new levels of competitiveness. The programme seeks to identify role models who are either users or developers of technology, and is run in partnership with The Department of Science and Technology.

The entrants of the TT100 programme include a wide spectrum of operations in diversified industries. They exemplify the reality that irrespective of what business they are in, they cannot escape the fact that technology will alter their world.  This year it enters its 19th year of existence with a well established brand and sound market credibility .The Technology Top 100 award is granted to small, medium and large organisations in recognition of their unique ability to use technology to achieve their objectives more effectively.

Altech Netstar has been consistently nominated in various categories since 1999, and has been awarded "Platinum TT100 Status" for maintaining the TT100 standard of excellence for more than 5 consecutive years.  Altech Netstar has won in the categories of large enterprise, Information and Communications Technology, hardware innovation ,and new product development and innovation, and was awarded the prestigeous "2007 Minister’s Award for Overall Excellence", awarded in recognition of the wide range of excellence across many company disciplines needed to keep the company at the forefront of its market.
